Right i need a suspension kit that is suitable for race use , Not to expensive as im on a fairly low budget. preferably a coilover type, but if theres a set of springs and shocks that are just as good then great. im prolly wanting to much but anything around the £500 mark? cheers guys..John

im sure the FK coilovers are £599 for the e30 but ive never used them so cant vouch for them performance wise.i dont think you will get coilovers for as low as £500 unless you look for second hand

I would suggest that for the money you have to spend you should be looking for a second hand set to be rebuilt.
£500 isn't going to get you much in the way of a decent coil over kit. I paid just over £700 for my H&R kit direct from the factory. I think that's a good price
Just remember one thing .........''buy cheap, buy twice''

Northloop hit the nail on the head, buy cheap buy twice, we're all on budgets but the shocks you choose will have a huge impact on your performance when racing, consider how much money you are actually spending to be out there and then put £560 into the equation and i think you'll find it's a fraction of the overall cost, a well set up car will always be faster than a car set up on a budget, personally I'd start at Leda and go from there, a tried and tested route, all the Kumho E30 run Leda as do alot of the PBMW as well, if you want to be competitive then you need a set up at least as good as the rest and I'd bet money on that not being fk.

Hawkwind, theres a very good deal on GAZ coilovers for PBMW drivers, details on Seloc. Alot of us are using them, Leda are as said a good bet, but are over twice the deal price and not twice as good
PM me or U2U me over there and I'll point you in the right direction, also a number of deals on many other items including winged seats(compulsory) from cobra
