Speak to Dave Lyons at GAZ half the price of leda and just as good

BTW you sure that was 1600 euro not GBP as that is a very cheap price if its for full set up including springs

Tell him James Cuthbert sent you ;)

Hi

Are you thinking of doing West Cork in March as I will be doing that also , If I was you I would fit Bilstein before the other two , With a small modification you can fit Mk 2 Escort Gp4 rear coil overs on the back of your car , I fitted these myself while I was building my car , I also had some Bilsteins for the fronts , I changed my mind before using the car and went a bit mad and bought some Proflex which are on now , I bought the Proflex from Belgium, cost about £2500 delivered , which is a very good price for what you get , I sold the bilteins on to a guy in Scotland , I can get hold of him for the part number for the front struts if you want , The Bilteins on the front are a monotube shock so is much stronger for rallying , you dont get the flex in the strut ,

Here's some pics

Hope this helps

Kevo , the silver shock in my photo's is an Escort shock , the rod needs threading further down and shortening to be a perfect fit , otherwise you lose most of the travel if left as they are , i had 450ld ft front springs and 220lb ft rear springs when I fitted mine , but never used them as I then bought the Proflex ,
