The two door shell actual doors are bloody heavy! (In my case they feel heavier than the bonnet...

Has anyone lightened them if so are there any tips? i.e. areas not to drill and so forth and does anyone sell lightweight door cards (carbon or fibreglass)? Or plasty glass window kits?

Drop Taffy an email (info@xlmotorsport.com). He's doing fibreglass door cards as well as body panels. It's on a couple of threads about lightweight panels.

You may want all that metal in the door if you have a shunt.

The standard door cards are actually very light.

You might consider polycarb instead of glass?
