Has anybody got and info on cages that go to the rear subframe mount points (wear the long stud drops though the floor for the subframe bush)?

Im building a new cage soon and i am going to incorporate the subframe pick up points into it but i want to find out if the long stud goes though the cage (using a longer stud) or if the cage is just welded to were the stud goes though?

If anyone can shed any light on this it would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks

My cage picks up the rear axle points, I still have the original axle bolts. the cage I guess will just help reduce the flex in the shell.

Was longer bolts used then ie the bolt went through the cage then the floor to the frame? Or was the cage just welded to the floor around the hole that the bolt goes through?
Thanks

My 18 point Safety Devices cage bolts to the rear subframe pick ups. It came with bolts but I can't remember if they were longer or not. They were to replace the standard ones which are splined into the car if that makes sense

Thanks dan don't suppose you no if the cds was capped at the bottom with a hole big enough for the frame bolt to go through or if the bolt stays were it is and this plate just welded over the hole in the floor do you?

Thanks for the replys..
