Adrian flux every time. Did mine and the quote was something like £300 for low mileage.

Just got off the phone to Adrian flux £1480 lol
At this rate I might aswell remove the cage & buckets and turn it back to a road
Car and get it insured as just a summer car probably doesn't help matters that I live in Birmingham known
As one of the highest insurance areas .
Going to try -
Reiss
Competition car insurance
And brentacre who I'm insured with atm on my daily driver.
If I can't get it insured for £400 or less look out
For a OMP rollcage and sparco seats for sale ha ha
:( :(

This is why a few people I know who compete have bought themselves decent trailers. Once you add up insurance and tax etc (on a car that isn't used a lot), the fuel costs of towing the car to a few events doesn't look so bad! And, you will always get some money back selling the trailer as and when you want.

Edit - just realised this might be a daily car rather than a competition car. In which case I'd lose the cage and not get bum raped by the insurance companies!

Have you tried HIC? I've had a few modified cars insured with them now and they always seem to have the best deal for me.

I have a trailer to use as I also have a 306 Gti 6 track car which is just used for track day use only . But the e30 will be only used for maybe 2/3 track days during summer months and also used as a road car too

Reiss insurance came back with a £534 f/c quote
Brentacre came back to me with a £548 f/c quote
Need to get a quote back off CCI
Will try HIC thanks for the recommendation bud

I've got a stripped out sport with cage and buckets etc - I used peter best, everything declared and an agreed value of £7,000 was circa £300 with limited mileage, car kept in a locked barn and I'm 31.

Mine is m30 converted, cage, bucket seats, harnesses, uprated brakes and suspension, 2000 miles a year, parked on my drive, around 500 f/c with HIC, I'm 32 with a clean license.

I just wonder what the difference is, unless they've massively hiked their prices? My insurance was back in Nov with them. Very strange... oh mine was 3rd party too.

I have cage and buckets and no problem with Sky? They insure a lot of specced up drift cars so wouldn't have thought a cage would be an issue.
