Yes it's the "Pistonheads/Drive" Chris Harris/Dan Prosser car
An ex challenge car...
Does anybody know its history ? It would be interesting to find out !
We recently fitted a z3 rack/brake upgrade and gave the car a good going over.

There are a few details in this video, it had quite a nasty accident prior to Chris Harris's ownership iirc
If you haven't seen this video its worth a watch and a giggle

Yes I have seen that one - but thanks regardless !. It's nice for anybody else who is here looking and interested.
It has some battle scars that's for sure, but it drives really well now with the quicker rack etc. I was genuinely shocked.
I was wondering about its history regarding the 325i challenge really if anybody knows ?
It was built or started racing in 2005 apparantly. It used to be red and even maybe black or dark grey after that by the look of the layers of paint !!

Hi .the car was built and used by Roland Llewelyn from west wales( David llewelyns uncle).roland was very quick and it ran quite high up on several events, the challenge was very competitive and it often was a case of win or bin.
Each year Roland started well but thru minor offs, work, etc he dropped out of the challenge half way thru.
The car was always very well prepared till a big off on a event I think at manby(the picture on chris,s blog on pistonheads).
The car was given to Paul dark in mid Wales who repaired it,putting I beleive a secondhand leg ,inner wing etc.
Most of the work was done then Paul went AWOL and I beleive Roland had a job getting it back.
I think the bm had a head gasket issue after being repaired and was offered for sale as it was.
Roland eventually repaired it and did one or two events but had a Evo aswell.
Then the car was sold onto chris.
