Back in my bike racing days I have witnessed a side car racer kidnapping a spectator because he was without a co-driver. "would you please give me a push mate and just ride along with me to scruteneering?" Well he drove straight onto the track, no joke! Needless to say that the spectator (just a biker in leathers and crash helmet who was wondering around the paddock) was not impressed at all and wanted to punch his lights out afterwards.
