Full striped, 2 bimarco seats, 5 point harnes, plumbed in & hand held fire extinguishers, omp dish steering wheel, battery in boot

Engine chassis

M60b40,manual,custom headers and full exhaust, alloy rad, twin spal fans

Front and rear coilovers, front strut brace, standard disks and pads (but upgrading to drilled grooved with ebc pads) standard tank, 3.65 welded diff but ive got a open 2.91 im going to use

I currently run custom long bottom arms and strurt relocation kit to gain over 70 degrees of steering lock i run 6 degrees of camber at the moment

With tyres and wheels i have 9j 15" steels but only have toyo t1rs streched on them or 15" 7js with toyo r888 which i think would be the better choice ? Also alot of 17" alloys but no rubber

Im worried about my standard clutch giving up, my diff being open and tyres and wheel selection

Any advice? Lol

70º of lock!? Thats 10º more than what the best drift control arms will ever give you! Are you sure its 70º? 8O

That's the arms Kos, you can see them, they are anodised blue and offer a maximum of 60° lock. The arms are about £1k.

Cool photo!

The last pic is wisefab which is £1200 we made our own kit which has more degrees of lock, wisefab always run without wings etc the first pic is my car before i added fenders skirts etc

How did you get round the steering locking past 60º? I think that if you were able to make up your own arms then its you that should be telling us how prep for races 8)

Not with 6º camber up front!

You will find it hard to stop in anything but perfect weather conditions. You really need to get that right down if you can. Aim for anything in the 2º-3º mark depending on the roll of the car and with a heavy M60 up front I think you will need something closer to 3º than 2º if not more!

Sorry, completely missed that part! I dialled mine down to just over 2 (min I could get with e46 arms) for use on the road, it made a big differance especially in the winter weather.

Are you able to swap the diff out to lsd? I drove mine with a open diff and it was impossible to get traction from corners. What clutch is it 4.0 clutch? Be interested to know how your oil & water temps get on, you running a pas cooler? As the way the lines run I found mine got super hot and the steering started to drop off

Hiya phil hows yours going? Yeah i run a p/s cooler too
Also running standard 3.0 clutch
I was worrying about the camber, i should be able to pull 3degrees of camber out, a friend has also said i can lend his slipper too so 2.91 should be ok

I didnt think the m60 where a heavy lump really?

10kg more then a m50 iirc, 3.0 on a 4.0 how's that holding up? I drove a e21 4.0 with a 3.0 clutch and it slipped from around 3.5k up!

LSD will help loads, I drove Teesside quick last time and it wouldn't stay tight in corners, fun but I'd imagine a few blacks flags will meet you given what a few tracks can be like!
Still your not out to win a race, so just do what you feel need too!

Must get up north again for some drifting with you boys

Wellllll touch wood the clutch has been fine! Ive done a few rounds of the ndc at teesside and it only slipped when u go for 4th round south bank (running track backwards) so just left it in 3rd and bounced it off the limiter! Lol

croft is going to be a bit of fun always wanted wanted to do a fast day, id just have to take it easy out of corners i dont want to get black flagged esp when its £225 :s

Deffo try get back to teesside for ndc rd 3 or 4 loads of seat time! Very good fun
