For anybody interested who hasn't clocked it, there is a potential group buy for lightweight bootlids in the group buy forum.

I am considering one myself, just need some lockable fittings for it as the car will be left outside sometimes.
If you see any deals on aeroflush lockable catches feel free to post them up!

Been looking at the same thing. Zone Motorsport were doing an offer a while back, maybe worth asking them for a group buy?

See what they can do, cheapest lockable on ebay are £43 inc post
Where would you fit them on a bootlid? You dont want to have to use two pairs, im thinking a pair on the rear vertical edge, can we use the hinges with the GRP bootlids?

I've been having a look at this. The best place I've found is right on the far ends of the vertical edge:
It's more than likely going to be a single skin job for weight and cost reasons,so not sure if it would be strong enough to handle the strain from the hinge.

I spoke to the guy who I buy mine from but he's winding that side of his business so I guess ebay it is!

@TrackM3: your panels do look very good but I sorted out a deal with ABS motorsport who are supplying the group buy.

martin hollands is your man for all of this as bought from him.
the rear spoiler and adjustable DTM bit are sperate to the bootlid. you are probably loking at 400 for both unpainted.
I am looking into the front bit and undertray for next year. friend of martin and mine has this on his e30 and it looks awesome.
here are some pics:

the bits on the sides are called CANARDS or Dive Plates
you can normally get them on Ebay if you do a search on them.
I have them on my E30 so they help with front end grip and turn in; also with stabilty at high speed when combined with the rear aero I have on the car:
