Hello Chaps,
I'm doing a track day with
www.track-action.co.uk on the 3rd of December at Donington.
Just though I'd post up and see if anyone else was interested in coming along!
I might stay in a hotel the night before so that I don't have to get up tooooo early.
Anyone?!!

Not interested in the track day, but a meet in the pub would be good

(if you stay in a hotel that is)

Russ, 'not interested in the track day'
You big girl!
Get your car on track!
I will be up for a 'pub meet', I think I'll book that Friday off!
Andy, shame you can't do the track day, I am making the most of not having a mortgage at the moment!
Anyone else interested?!

i am making the most of being married to a doctor !!! so might be going to that one. I am off to cadwell on nov 19th with easy track. looing at oulton with track action on dec 10th or dec 17th (only Ԛ£110 for oulton!!). i only live 50 miles from donnington so know it quiet well so will possibly be tempted.
you could always put a tent on my garden to avoid hotel costs !!!

Come on people!
This is Donny, a decent surface and a legendary track!
All you M3 boys, get them out and show us how quick you are!
This is cheap for Donny, I will even buy you a pint after!

I've booked up, i'll be in the mg though - I wasn't planning to do another trackday until i did the V8 convesion but i couldn't resist at that price as its an excellent price for an open day at Donny.
Like Dave said it's a superb track and this will be 4th time there - one thing to bear in mind is that its very slippy in the wet so take it easy at first, as its likely to be wet at that time of year
Plus you'll get the opportunity to buy some proffesional pic's of your car on the track - this was taken at Donny,
I've convinced my mate to go in Mk2 Golf Gti and it's his first time on a track but its an ideal day for your first time - free instruction (usually costs about Ԛ£25!)

Brilliant stuff Gavin.
I'm probably going to be staying at the MelbourneView hotel the night before so that I don't have to get up at 4am that day!
Can't wait.
Hoping it's not wet, at least some of the time.

Which car are you using Dave, the Honda ?
Posted: Sun Oct 30, 2005 10:23 pm
by Davenotouring
Yeah, using the Civic.
It's more of a track car than the touring by a long way. I've sorted some 15" wheels now, so can use decent rubber.
I am tempted to build a 325i Track car also. But this would start to get very expensive!
Hope you can make it down at some point!?

I'd love to come but there's a track day on here on the Isle of Man
so I'm going to that and then I don't have to get on a ferry in a rough December Sea

How much is it an where do you sign up? Silly question but does ypur car

Ԛ£80 for the day or Ԛ£40 ish for the half day (4 hours)
It doesn't have to be road legal, many cars arrive on trailers. if you go to
www.duketrackdays.com/ you can see the info there.
The map of the IoM track is on my site (see www below) There's also a Kart track right next to it which can be hired for the day / party etc
Track day for 2006.....????
I'll look in costs of the Ferry crossing, overnight stay and a track day and post it back on the site in another post.
Cheers

I will be going in my E30 track car. Lets hope its dry.
Look for the stripy M3 No 69. Will also have lots of cardboard around the airbox though, as I suffer from induction noise.
Come and sam hello.

It's not a
meet as such, it's a track day...
You are more than welcome to come and watch.
Have a look in the meets section for
