A Quaife QBE26Z if I am not mistaken. That's a very special 6-speed sequential dog-box with type-9 interface, as used on the Ford Sierra. I hope you appreciate exactly what you have there! Was it fitted to the car already, or is it one that you are planning to fit? Lovely ratios, but please be careful, "The maximum power rating for this gearbox is 250bhp and 220lb/ft of torque". Could that be why it's on the bench at the moment?

No offence intended, but the two cars look like they belonged to Mr Jolly and Mr Jelly respectively :D I am sure that your new paint scheme will do the car justice :thumb: Good luck.

Oh, that's good to know! I was always under the impression one would have to cut the bell off a Getrag and then mill up a plate with mounting holes for the type-9, and then weld the plate to the bell etc. Nice to know that e-lite do one off the shelf.

BTW, I have a straight-cut H-gate synchroless gearbox on my car (see here). I designed up the gears myself (details earlier in the thread) and had them hobbed at a local gear-maker. I now have the box fitted to the car (impressions later in the thread). My only regret is that it isn't sequential like yours, but since I did the design myself I thought I'd start simple. I can honestly say that having a set of custom gears totally transforms the car on the track!
