hi guys and girls
ive been searchin on and off for a few months for a way to fix my fixed back, sidemount sparco evo into my e30.
ideally it cant be fixed position as the wife is 5ft and im 6ft 1, so it shall have to be a runner of some form.
I already have the sidemount brackets on the seat (from back when it was in a 200sx) but wondered where everyone recomends for the seat runner.
cheers james

nice one mate cheers
i actually have the sidemounts for the seat, i was more worried about the slider but looking at that site they are using the oem sliders. is this easy enough to do, it doesnt need any welding skills? as i have none.
cheers james

I have removed the sliders from the standard seat and bolted them back into the car.
My seat already has some kind of mount also, a bit like you (except mine is bolted to the bottom of the seat).
Next it's just a case of get some substantial metal and a welder/grinder and make something up really.
Just make sure its nice and strong as I imagine the seat falling over half way around a corner or in the unfortunate event of a crash is not too cool

Why not a buy a Sparco seat mount if you are unsure? Find a distributor and buy away.
