E30Zone Trackday & Meet - Oulton Park Nov 13th

Hi Guys and Girls
With the most kind offer, Steve from Trackaction-Online (our resisdent trackday organiser/trader) has offered to run a one of his trackdays at Oulton Park as a Zone trackday and meet & catchup too.
Oulton Park is one of the countries best racing circuits (in my humble opinion of course) and how much better is it going to be with a gaggle of E30's doing what they do best.
Here is what Steve is proposing...
....................................................
Oulton Park Nov 13th
Open pitlane trackday
Restricted numbers to ensure plenty of tracktime
List price £160, club rate £125
Extra driver £35, passengers £10
Garages can be pre-booked for £20, if ten or more members sign up we'll throw a couple of garages in FOC
Free tuition available from ARDS instructors
This is a club run day, friendly atmosphere etc so well worth coming along to.
..................................................
Now although there will be other machinery there if you all get signed up now we can make up a serious amount of the cars there on the day.
For anyone who is not in the know, £125 is CHEAP for any trackday on such a high profile circuit, let alone an open pitlane day....none of those nasty 20 minute sessions here.
If you have any questions/inquiries then please post up here and Steve will get back to you.
Come on guys, help support the Zone and the Traders who pay to keep this place alive and kicking and experience the bargain of the year to boot.
Even if you don't want to take your car around the track, you can turn up and make it into a good meet too as there is plenty of room in the paddock behind the pits and you can always pay to be a passenger (I've always found that people are more than happy to accept strangers as passengers on trackdays)
Lets turn this into a good day
Hope to see you there
Chris

Not sure of the details but most trackdays are
8 AM signing on
9 AM briefing for a 9:15 or so start to the tracktime
Steve will be along later to firm those up though, that is just the normal of order of things on teh days I have been on in the past.

260 miles from me though, that's more than halfway to the ring from here....

Hi Fellas
Just want to say thanks to Chris and the E30 organisers for joining in with us on this event, it should be a great day out!
The timetable will be signing on from 7.30-8.30, drivers briefing at 8.30 then sighting laps around 9am and then it's open pit! We'll take one hour for lunch and then run until light stops play - probably around 4.30 depending on the conditions on the day.
Oulton is a great circuit, along with Cadwell it has to be the best in the country so it's worth the trip wherever you are from!
Any other questions or if you are interested in coming along please shout up and I'll PM you the booking details and discount codes
Cheers
Steve H

I assume you mean Fosters, not Indy

, it's the full international circuit

Is that the one with the banked hairpin or the slightly shorter version with the flat hairpin? (I think its the banked corner)

That's my fault - I asked on the phone earlier if it was full or indy. Indy just seems to be a byword for part-circuit to me.

No worries, Indy is normally Brands, at Oulton we have got Fosters (short, square), Island (flat hairpin, used for some racing including BTCC but rarely for trackdays) and International with the fast lefthander (Island bend) leading towards Shell - the banked hairpin; that's the one we'll be on.

Excellent! Nice one!
What have you been doing to her?
Bill - That's a real shame, Oulton is a cracking circuit and I'm sure either Stoney or I would have taken you out for a lap or two!

It would have been great to book a place, but needing brake pads and tires doesn't mix well with being skint
