Hi,
I think you can do pretty much anything you like in Kumho.
Edit: That is to say, it's much more liberal than, say Production BMW or TTRS.
Look here http://www.bmwrdc.com/_files/Regulation ... _Draft.pdf

well, if the regs are the same as TTRS then you are fine, so long as you replace the hole with material as think as the roof skin.

We have just pulled the cassette out of ours and have 2 aluminium sheets the size of the sunroof hole 3mm thick if you are interested (we are in the NW).

Khumho is very different to TTRS, TTRS is the more affordable end of the scale hence glass has to stay etc etc our regs are on http://www.racingsaloons.com

Definately not on for TTRS, but probably allowed into Classic Thunder (Classic Touring Car Racing Club), with a capacity multiplyer of course! The regs are much less restrictive and is one of the possibilities for us whenever the b****y car gets finished. Not eligeable for TTRS anymore, since ITB's have been banned!
'Our' 325 is ex Kumho and has had the sunroof cassette removed and the original skin stitch welded back into the hole, so definately OK.
Dont forget, the homologation cars for the 325's run in the European Touring Car Champs back in the mid 80's would have been non sunroof.

For Kumho you can pretty much lighten any part of the original metal bodywork so long as you don't weaken the structure. You also need to retain metal wings and doors though. Plastic windows are allowed but that's a recent addition to allow the E30's to up the power to weight.

cool thanks for the responses guys, other bit i was slightly confused at was whether the rear alignment tabs someone on here was selling would be allowed to bring the rear camber back to normal after lowering? or is it only front camber adjustment plates allowed?

For the track you'd want to keep some rear camber anyway to be honest but yeah for Kumho at least, you can adjust geometry as much as you like so long as the original mounting points are used.
