E30 Zone

We are getting towards the end of the road in terms of the bits & pieces needed to enter our 325 into a championship or three

We need a fire extinguisher installed. Does anyone have any advice or any recommendations what to get and a rough price/how much hassle?

FYI we are having a roll cage fitted in 2 weeks time if this complicates matters.

There's mechanical systems which can be pretty cheap for a 'clubman' type one and obviously get more expensive the larger capacity the system etc.

Electrical ones are alot more expensive.

Best thing to do is check the regs and see what capacity extinguisher you'll need.

You just need to be able to mount the extinguisher some where in the cabin, and then run the nozzles into the engine bay. Some people have 1 nozzle in the bay and one in the drivers footwell. You then obviously have to have an internal trigger and an external one.

Peter Lloyd Rallying sold me a 4L manual (4 nozzle) for £150 delivered last year....

Christ Jimmy, where/ when did you get it at that price?

Bought today. Lifelife 2000 clubman, 2.25kg mechanical. Paid just over 100. Not as cheap as Rally Design but I needed a lot of bits as well.
