E30 Zone

Has anyone done the rear coilover spring conversion ie welding coilover sleeve on rear trailing arm and ran 2 1/4 springs with adjustable damper. I have debated whether to do this and intruiged to see peoples opinions and if possible some photos of the setup.

i believe the top mounting point for the shocky need to be strengthened as all the load will be transfered to that point.

Alex, working on a similar set up to this, hoping to have it done for Abingdon on Friday so we can see how well/if it works. One of the cars will be in Poole next week if you'd like to give it the once over.
