we are now able to offer fully ported and polished cylinder heads, ideal for track and race use. they are also skimmed and pressure tested as well.

we are able to get these done by a professional engine builder who has many years experience in formula1, indy car and nascar and used to work for illmor.

we are offering these on an exchange unit basis so you wouldnt need to wait with your car in bits.
these are availible for 6 cylinder 12v and 24v heads, for the moment but hopefully doing 16v heads as well later on.
please contact us for price details if interested.
regards nigel.

hi oze30
yes we can, but unfortunalty we dont have one as an exchange unit, so you would need to send one to us.

Can you give us any flow data for these heads? Like what they can do as standard and what effect the mods have?

I'm especially interested in the M20B25 head.

Would you be able to PM me a price for the 12v head too?

Cheers!

Kind regards,
Alex

Alex just what I was thinking and in the PM I recieved today it seems there is no flow data until someone coughs up and pays for one for it to be then tested.

I would happily stand corrected though, as I personally would not buy one until I had at least some flow bench test results as a minimum the icing on the cake would be a before and after dyno with only variable being the flow mods.

I remember a user name portformance flowing a 320i head and posting the flow bench results (for a customer) results were very good and imo the chap knew what he was talking about.

Oh, might perhaps be worth paying for some testing Alloyproducts to give some firm data to sell these heads on.

Does seem a little odd that someone who does porting work for a living wouldn't have developed each port type on a flow bench to be honest.

i have just recieved a PM from shorty73, as we are going to be sponsoring his race car this season. we are going to try and get one on his car to test on the track, and dyno if possible. we can and will flow bench the heads before and after to show the results.

I am a bit sceptic about flow bench numbers. A large pipe always flows better than a small one. But this doesn't proof anything of the real performance this head may/may not make IMHO. Making things larger may well get the flow numbers up, but doesn't really proof the effectiveness of the port design.
A dyno curve is what I would trust. And I always cringe a little when I read "polished" ports, that's an old wifes tale if you ask me
