seem to have quite a lot of lift @ 120+ mph...
what the best solution...?
m3 front bumper + splitter?
m3 wing? m3 wing with dtm gurney?

Where does it feel to be lifting ?
Back end or front, or worse, the whole car...

Pete don't care about colour, He would shag a rainbow if he could find the end of it....

steering first... but i suspect just doing from will make back end squirm..

Without knowing the set-up of your car, or seeing it, i can't really say whats best.
But if you look at the cause, it might help.
Lowering the front may help a little, causing some downforce on the bonnet. Front splitter maybe ?

my basic plan is m3 bumper with splitter and a could of rear bonnet vents... to suck air out of engine bay and reduce air pressure under the car....
im tempted by an m3 wing but dont really want to add weight...

Thats along the lines that i was thinking of, create an upsidedown wing !!
I know that some have acheived good results by lowering the front slightly and adding a front splitter, but at higher speeds, without a decent rear wing, it can cause the backend to become light..
Would the M3 rear wing add that much weight ?

prob not that much...
the front is lower than the back as is.. not much but defo running a little rake... purely cos back is so light now car is stripped...
found an m3 splitter on ebay... will try and bolt to std bumper first.. if a no go will find an m3 bumper...
i could always go for a chav wing on the back..

to be honest, i think you are unlikely to see any real benefits by sticking on wings etc as the speeds you are travelling at are not really sufficient for aerodynamics to be working properly.
Think a casual check over of the car suspension and geometry would be the first consideration. Lower & stiffen the car a bit first, would prob make a big difference to high speed stability.
Unless you are getting into 150+ speeds, I think wings, spoilers etc are purely cosmetic. I am not an aerophysics dude though

heres hoping im not on the "ring" when you are...E30Mark wrote:Stick to 70mph
wings start working at about 60mph... they really work above 100..
my old wrc wing on the Octavia worked so well it actually cracked the paint @ 160mph....
