You won't want to install it on the mech as they will get scratched like hell in no time at all.
My fronts are bolted in at the bottom and sit in the rubbers all the way round the top. My rears are fitted into non pop out rubbers and the rear screen is fitted into the screen seal.

That's what I thought about the mech mine has the rear pop out windows so I am guessing I will need to swap the rubbers for non pop out ones then how do you get on with air flow as my car is still road legal I drive to the tracks and back so a little concerned about me melting in the car lol

I've got a set of Templar Performance ones to go on my car once I've finished painting the inside. Make sure when you do come to order them you budget to have them hard coated. Not having them done will mean they scratch in a heart beat. If you want them to fit standard rubbers make sure you buy a formed window kit where the material is heat moulded to the shape of the original window.
To help with ventilation you can add pop out vents like these to the windows http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorspor ... op-it-vent
