Ever fancied doing both circuits linked together like the VLN / 24hr boys do. Fancy going balls out down the straight rather than slowing for the cones. Flying laps? You will get it all here.

A friend of mine has taken a huge risk by hiring the circuit for the day and as such this is a closed circuit track day.

If you fancy having a crack at it I might be able to get you a nice saving on the RRP price. If it takes your fancy and you would like more info send me a pm and I will do my best to help.

Here are the details

............................................

I'd go if...

1. I wasn't broke.
2. I had something better than a 318i.
3. I had a passport.
4. I didn't have a very real fear of travelling to foreign places. (I get lost very easily!)

It sounds like an amazing day, and i hope you all come back safely with some cool pics and stories for the zone. :D

I'm all booked up for this and can't wait!!

For those of you who have only ever done public days I cannot recommend this enough!....
The last time I did a track day at the Ring it was only on the Nordschleife and I managed to do five laps without seeing another car!!

Northloop - I'm in Craigs car this time and booked and paid for it using the discount code you gave him, please can you update the list to show "Paid".

The attendee list is rather more full than shown on the first post in this thread! It's going to be a monumental trip. And no bikes!

Agreed 100%

Amazing day, gave the car death for almost 300km with no faults whatsoever. Don't know if I'll bother with touristenfahrten in future it doesn't even compare!

Absolutely agree Theo and "twice as many horses than me". Shame we didn't catch up, Just checked my milometer - 3 miles short of 1200, door-to-door. Went out via Hull to Rottenjam and back via Hamsterjam to Newcastle (4 miles from home).

There is another planned for 23rd August. Click this link to keep in touch with details http://destination-nurburgring.eventbrite.com/

I have several low-res pics but they are the property of the official photographer so I can't post them up - to do that I need to give him 20euros for each picture to get the high-res versions.

Sorry Theo! Haven't been on here for a while so missed your message!!

I was in a white Honda Intregra DC2.

What a top day! I was there two weekends before and the difference between track days and public days is just emmense!!

They are running another Track Day (same Guy, Same Firm) on Monday 23rd August but it's just the Nordschleife this time without the GP Circuit.... I'VE BOOKED IT!!

(I won't be in the E30 though, I'll be in an EVO 8) this time.

Is anybody else up for that one?
