That part number is £128.35 plus VAT at the moment but there isn't any stock anywhere in the world
or a date when or if new stock will be arriving.

Thanks for closing the loop.
Seems like as time marches on more and more parts are going to be NLA or no ETA.
Out of curiosity, is there a formal process where BMW group record and decide when (or if) older parts get remanufactured?

No, once a part goes NLA in my experience it is never remade.
