Hey guys,

Do you have any information on if / when BMW will be restocking n/s rear quarter panels for facelift 2dr saloons? Are there any out there on a shelf in the dealer network?

I’m also looking for a sunroof panel, again for a 2dr facelift, are these still available?

There is an alternate 1/4 panel we have supplied a couple of guys now, I think the only difference is a rear bumper bracket that is welded on.

It is still available from the main German warehouse and the cost will be £274.68

The sunroof panel is in stock in the UK and will cost £420.46

Brilliant!... Do you have an image / diagram or have a part number so I can look it up and make sure it’ll work / work with m tech 2 bumper.

Re sunroof panel, great to know they’re in stock, but I think I’ll have a look for a clean used one first!

Hello, the picture we have is a generic one that is not that specific to show the different bracket.

The part number for the panel is 41 35 1 972 965 if it helps

Cool, so I’ve had a look, and I think this is a part number for a u.s spec car....

As far as I can tell, the u.s facelift panels look exactly the same as ours, but the u.s prefacelift panels have the extra tab welded on?

U.s facelift: Same as ours but with a mini vin plate.


U.s pre facelift: Extra tab / bracket

Either way, if it’s a facelift n/s rear quarter for a 2dr, I’ll take it.

Excellent, we have supplied a couple and everything seems to be OK with them to fit a UK car.

Panel will have to come from Germany so will take a few days.
