I drove one which I went to look at with a view to purchase, funnily enough quite near Mark. It drove like a total dog. Hope yours is better!

She has been pretty much re-bushed and has a newish steering box and also a recent eibach pro kit, E32 front brake upgrade, braided hoses etc... Thicker ARBs and 540i rear brakes to come

Also could do with gear linkage and bushes doing as gearchange is a little sloppy. Would do the z3 1.9 lever but it has the dogleg box so it will not fit

I was at the Kent Diner meet in Ashford last night, I didn't realise the car was owned by a Zoner and I don't think we met properly!
Your E28 (and the other two there) looked absolutely gorgeous!
I had a shed of a 528i many years ago and I think it's the best car for going sideways I've ever had, a real hoot to drive!

rare dogleg, watcht out andyboy doesn't like these boxes!
milege, owners, history, other mods, rust, fast, thirsty?! These will slaughter a 325i i know that much
Dave was that the white write off for a previous ring trip?

Simon13, no it was a Red turd in Maidstone.
I won that one on eBay but then asked the seller if he'd take a bit less after I found out it was Cat C.
He wouldn't so I didn't buy it.
I almost bought a LHD 735i for a Ring trip once.
I'd love an E28 M5!

Ok, mileage 95K, bills, all mots to prove. Other than the stuff I mentioned she is standard so far, seems to be rot free - I had her jacked up and had a good poke around before buying, a proper ramp inspection will tell the full tale, seems quick and makes a great sound was rolling roaded at 215 Bhp and is over fuelling a little so potential to be good, managed 28.5 on the way home, seems to be around 22 round town. She has a few scratches and dents but what I wanted was as rust free car as I could find, and it seems to tick the boxes.

To do drifting you'd have to ruin it with Matt black paint, stripped interior and a cage made from B&Q drain tubing - plus you'd have to stop shaving, wear a beanie hat and take up Linkin Park.

I did think about another E30, but fancied something different, a sport in similar condition would have cost me twice as much too... unless I could have found a decent tech1.
