E30 Zone

can anyone help me. i want to change my engine for 1.8 to a 2litre as i have just brought a e30 2litre which is a mot failer and i want to put the engine in my 318. can anyone tell me how easy or hard it is and do i need to change the wireing loom

I wouldn't bother mate, even if you do have the donor. Its far too much effort for very little gain, and quite a bit more fuel consumption. If you're going to put a 6 pot in you may as well go all out and get a 2.5, gain yourself 45 horses instead of 10-15.
Not that the 320i is a bad car at all as it is, it just seems a pointless upgrade for a 4 cylinder car.
