530i e34 v8 m60 engine. any good ?

ive been offered a 530i v8 1996 top spec leather air-con bla bla bla. and its a very good price anyone know if there any good ? any major problems apart from the nikasil liner issue?

Chances are, Yes. Nikasil CAN be an issue, but possibly not. Luck of the draw really. Some cars had the engine replaced under warranty, some not. Auto manual? touring/saloon??

When i enquired about the Nikasil thing with my BMW main dealer they said it wouldn't be an issue on the 1996 530 v8 i am currently selling.
Not sure if this is the case with all the later e34 v8's though.

well i looked at this car 121000 miles, runs and drives perfect and very clean inside apart from seems very wollowy on the suspension, outside and underneath also clean but no history whatsoever just log book and mot. its of a mate and he wants £800 minimum is that cheap ?
