M5 back from Bodyshop (pics)

As some of you may know, I had an unfortunate disaster at lakeside when road paint got all over my car and there were no signs to say it was wet.
My insurance company agreed that most of the car would need to be sprayed. They are also claiming from thurrock council on my behalf.
Took the car to Candy Autmotive (user name Candyman) and he dealt with the whole this for me very quickly and efficiently.
For a very reasonable additional sum he also painted the panels that were no affected but we decided not to paint the roof. So entire car bar roof has been painted.
Got the car back last week and I am very happy with the work to say the least.
If anyone wants a very good job done Candy Automotive should be put on the list of people to get a quote from. I have not seen many insurance jobs like this!
Very easy to deal with and does exactly what he says. There are no hidden dramas at the end of it either.
While not the cheapest it is a well known fact that quality comes at a price.
What impressed me the most was the attention to detail and extra things were done just to make the car look really nice. No overspray anywhere, All of the shut lines had smooth paint, smal rust issues were sorted without asking for extra money, plastics were repaired without mention and the car came back in such a clean state. The interior was fully cleaned - leather was polished up, carpets hoovered....
This is one of those rare companies that actually takes pride in their work and the other two staff are helpful and very pleasant to deal with.
When I phoned to get an update I got more information that I asked for.
Got wheels refurbed by Stuart (Mr candy himself) while car was there and here are the results:

looking good sal, loved the way they did the skirts silver/anthracite on the m5, made them stand out a little.
have you removed the boot spoiler or has some chav nicked it along with the roundel
and youre right about quality coming at a price, its a shame more people dont see it that way

Thanks for the comments guys.
It's one of the darker shades of avus blue.
Bonnet and boot badges were left off by Stuart as I've ordered some new ones and no rear spoiler wrongness for this car!
Might get some smoked style front lenses made.
Stuart, I've been keeping it very clean and polished it today, really looks stunning!
Thanks

Different colour skirts are quite common pn the m5. Helps them stand out. For me gives them an appreciation value. I like!

All M5's had different colour skirts and there is no reason to change this. It's what identifies an M5 over the normal E34's visually atleast.
The car is a late 3.8 Litre with the 6 speed gearbox and 345mm front discs with 4 pot calipers.
Just added the BMW badges today, next week I will be fitting brand new EDC dampers and some steering parts and then it's off to have it's MOT.

I love e34 m5's. Possibly the car that will tempt me away from e30's.
Especially in Sals blue colour.

Looks good sal.
And to think i spent 2 days with white spirt, scrubbing all the road paint off (most of it still got some under the wheel arches).
Should have followed ur lead.

I tried white spirit but there was just too much paint.
You could always go back to Lakeside and find some more wet paint!
