Day dreaming at the train station today of the group b rally cars of the mighty 80's anyone remember if BMW were involved in mainstream rallying like Audi, Ford, Peugeot and that?

Recognise those amazing skills, i think modern wrc and touring car racing should have to use manual gearboxs, i think adds that extra level of excitment and awe not some newboy with a buttons and paddles for everything wheres the skill in pressing a button?

Im sure there is a RWD Rally challenge, took over from the Peugeot challenge which I belive they use 325i standard cars apart from suspension and safety bits, a whole bundle of them should make good viewing,.....
