none of you are right!! 193 is official figure, this engine was restricted by using a 2.0 throttle body for german/european insurance reasons keeping the engine under 200bhp (and hence why the 2.5 is almost the same power and where you get 192bhp from!!) but if you simply fit the 2.5 throttle body to the 2.8 engine and a little bit of chip remap or replace chip you will realise somewhere around 220bhp.

so none of you were right but none of you were too wrong at the same time!!happy times!!

It's not just the throttle body. You need to fit the complete M50 inlet manifold and use a bored throttle body to get 220bhp (and probably a remap to suit).

just out of curiousity, are there any TB's you could cut n shut to fit?M535, bikes carbs...?wonder what sort of power youd get then with 'zorst and remap...maybe some extra fuel lol

The bloke who did my RR said the "BBTB" will only straighten the curve out a little and not to expect any power hike.

IMO if you want a bigger throttle then fit a bigger throttle, like 10mm bigger, its just not worth fucking about with 0.5mm here and 1mm there
