Cant see the point TBH dude, M30B30 is barely more poky than a decent high comp 2.5, add in the weight penalty and I see no real gain

335 or bust :thumb:

the work involved is the same, but the gains are greater

Mind you, 192 standard and the cam in these is so tame it would run away if you shouted at it. It'd be good with a snail and MS.

Is your 730i a manual? In which case the gearbox is the same as a 3.5 and you have a dual mass flywheel. The only bits that swap over to the 3.5 engine wise are...the air flow meter....er....throttle body.........

If you still have a complete car I might have to come and rob some bits. :D

There's not much I need tbh, I run a manual 730i and I broke up a 735i Auto a few weeks back so I already have a mountain of bits. Have u got the whole car or is she in a breakers?

Aaaah. Okay, no worries. I was in a breakers the other day near Banbury (Smiths of Bloxham) and there were several E32's in there - lots of E34's too including a LHD 535i with a buggered gearbox and a 535i Sport.
