I bought this last week - 1992 320iSE manual for £311. It's stolen recovered but wasn't actually nicked. The retards smashed a door glassbut didn't manage to defeat the steering lock. Door glass was £10. It's got a load of history including new shocks all round and rear springs, M Tech 2 wheel and gearknob, copper brake pipes, new exhaust and other stuff. Faults include a blow in on driver's doors which is a bit out and an occasional noisy lifter when started from cold. It's absolutely mint bodywise bar a dent on the bonnet by the badge and a crease on the n/s door frame where the dickheads tried to break in. I'm not even going to touch these bits for 300 odd quid.

I'm hoping to MOT this next week and smoke it about for a couple of months. Then either this or the Vectra will be the 2007 'Ring shitter! winkeye

Thousands of cheap old cars around now. They're just everywhere. My local scrapyard now has V and W plate stuff in, normally French junk but even so.

talking of french junk, you could have had a tidy taxed and mot'd P plate saxo for £175 in Blackburn auction on tuesday.. but we dont like saxos so we didnt bid! silly prices at the moment. Dont see many e30's there so when they do turn up they go for £450-600 as there quite a lot of the kind of young lads who want them.

You didn't buy a P reg Saxo for £175? Are you mad? 5-10 year old 3 door cheap tax (£100 a year) stuff is red hot. That would have been £595 in the paper and sold on 1st day. I just sold a P reg Ka for £1050, first caller bought it, no probs.

Forget E30's - they're just too old and they make too much money.

we dont know anything about saxo's and it caught us off guard as it was the 3rd or 4th car through and we had just got there!

will try to do better next time! feel heartless buying them but there are a lot of private entries in the couple weeks before xmas and the couple weeks after new year, people selling their second car to pay off the credit card i think!
