The paint they sell is $hite anyway. Get yourself to a proper paint shop!
While we're on the topic though, anyone got any experience of those electric spray guns you can pick up for £50 or so?

Not the ones that are designed for that! There's another type that comes with proper nozzles etc for spraying cars etc... or did you mean that they're $hite too?!

picked up my tins of spray paint from the main dealer and theyre very small 150ml cans so it works out the same price as the halfords stuff but the nozzles are better on the bmw cans giving a finer fan spray.the added bonus is that its the right shade this time

go to a good paint shop, thy will match up you paint as well, there are so many shades it silly, for example some paint shops say there is ony 1 shade of macau blue but there are 2, 3 shades of dolphin grey, 3 shade of diamond black and 2 shades of alpine whiteII
also if you are painting from spray can they mix it differently if you are painting metal or plastic. (that i found out recently!)

NEVER BUY PAINT FROM HALFORDS!!
If they cant get white right, they have problems, I got a can of ford diamond white, turned out to be white pink. Got a touch up stick for alpine white, its grey!
I get my paint from eurocolour, one in hemel and one in luton. Mix it up on site using PAINT CODES!
Dont know of any wearabouts of others though, soz.

halfords mix up paint using codes as well but unfortunately the person reading the codes seems to be dyslexic

HI I must have been lucky when I got paint mixed at halfords.
I got a second can made up in a car paint shop and I don't
think it is as good a match. The real test is when I go back to halfords
and get a second can.But my mate went to the dealer and got the
right match but smaller can so what to do?

Dont buy paint from Halfords,

there are many shops on ebay that will mix the right amount of paint for you. Iv used one ebaypaint i think its called, mail order not bad, not the best paint for a proffesional finish but for the home spray not bad, and reaonably priced. I now use Morelli, check out their web site. Brought half ltr of Alaska Blue for the missus car today quality stuff "de Beers" but at £19 per half lt no cheap
