climate control unit E36

anyone know where these can be repaired

at 209 notes plus vat for a new one i wana find a cheaper option

they dont get repaired!!! they get replaced...

the dealerships send the old one back to BMW AG, and they get reprogrammed, and then recirculated

you wont get a control unit for this ANYWHERE, except from BMW Dealers

unless you get one out of a breaker...

These CAN be repaired properly with a guarantee for about £70 including p+p . Try Phil at CPC 07960280953.

found a few places that repair them and the info on repairing it myself
gona see how much my local bm specialist can sorce a 2nd hand unit for then decide if i should go for that or get this one repaired

do they do ANY control unit for ANY BMW? 'coz we've all been told that you cannot get any of them anywhere

...then again, i just realised why they'd tell us that!!! :mad:

result!! i just found some software that allows you to reprogramme control units like this, however, the whole system costs £3500

its not a program error on it its a componant break down
common fault on the e36 climate control unit

tell me about! i've replaced loads of them! those and heater resistor packs!

what component went wrong?

BMW E36: Repairing the Climate Control Computer - It's a clicky!!

Main problem is needing to replace a capacitor on the board of the climate control computer.
