I like my car.
I like it to the point that it is going to stick around for a few more years yet .
Soooooooo I have decided to refresh the bits on the car other than the body which is spot on,and I started with the springs and shocks and drop links , new ones all around plus Bilstien B4`s and Im pleased with that side of things.
Monday and the cooling system will be changed as in radiator, water pump, thermostat, auto stat, hose`s, expansion tank an anything else that matters.
Phase three will be disc`s, pads, sensors, calipers, flexible hose`s, hand break shoes and other stuff I have to think about yet lol.
With labour I think this will all come in at less than a grand ( I have all the parts bought over time) so what do you think ?

  very nice Mart

I have just bought a 2004 330Ci for a ULEZ friendly daily for when/if it moves out to Greater London and save the E30 for special days. I have always rated the E46 as the next best 3 series since the E30 :drive:

Stick this website in your favourites. https://germancarspareskent.uk/

Nick Jupp specialises in E46 spares usually has a good range of stock and is reliable posting all over the Country, I am fortunate enough to have him on my doorstep, just five miles away :D

I have had two 330ci`s coupe`s both written off by Dicks and I do miss the extra 500cc especially in the cab but I`m very happy with her. I have had two E36 cars and the E46 is miles ahead and still stands up today with so called modern cars.
Look after her as I am doing or she will bite you !!!
Actually , very cheap motoring for what you have, even if you put £2k into her .
Look at what you could be driving................a piece of Euro shit / Training shoe, which WILL fall apart and not be in the same class ever !!
Pic`s please ??

She is a bit scabby, pebble dashed front in stone chips and damage to rear right quarter arch, plus some rust spots, but drives well for a 200k miles plus car.

Very very nice indeed
If I could get away with having another it would be just like that .!!
And a 3 litre is OK for ULEZ ?? not making sense that
Same colour as my sport was but mine was pre facelift.
Rare cars up north are coupes.

Yeah it is something about the Euro category they are in. E46 330 are getting a bit of recognition for being one of the best cheap fun cars that are ULEZ. prices are going up a bit.

Making me wonder if scrapping my 330i moredoor with 76K for the engine as donor for the e30 is the best idea now :?

Trouble is selling it even at current prices would barely buy a set of good pistons for an M20 8O

Very nice, Mart.

Not really in the right section of the forum though?

Nick is a top fella and is always my first port of call for anything E46 related. I too am just down the road, which is very handy.

My 330i touring is appraoching 250k miles and is still going strong. I do occasionally wonder about getting rid of it for something much newer but those thoughts usually pass pretty quickly.

For some reason I can imagine you cruising in your chariot summer time with the roof down with your red bald head and permed remnants of your pony tail with this blaring out on your stereo and on repeat........ ;o)))))
