What’s on... just picked up a 525e but it’s not really.... no engine etc
Gonna be a fun project, I’ll explain some info in the short future as it’s quite Frankenstein at the moment....
Any other e28 owners on here as I’d love to pick brains.... next to no e28’s I have seen or know of local to me Isle of Wight

So here it is in all its glory.... it’s a project for my wife as she really digs the e28’s.... I also think they are a great looking car, hence why I’m into 4 door e30s more than the two.
Quick spec run....
525e shell
Modified e30 front subframe
E36/46 power steering
E30 lower wishbones
E36 front hubs
Some sort of coil over all round (the fella I bought it off thinks they are Mitsubishi of some sort?)
Camber adjustable front top mounts
Like I said before, but of a Frankenstein at the moment
But will make for a good fun project I reckon, with maybe a wider possibility of engines to fit that e30 crossmember ??

On the last picture I’d like to know what goes in that hole on the bulkhead to hold the steering column straight.... any ideas??
