E53 X5 Rear Tyres.. opinions...

Ok, so need some rear tyres for the X5 (one cut on the inside and one distorted!!! Pothole damage?)
Hadn't budgeted for these, so I don't want premium tyres, but I don't want cheap crap either, so looking in the midrange....
Size is 285/45/19...
Camskill offers up Avon ZX7's (A rated in the wet, for what it's worth!) at £111 (111W XL) or £113 (107V)
Can't find many reviews, especially for that size - just one saying they were done after 5k miles!!! (sounds unlikely).
Any opinions on these??? Or others around this price???
Nexen NFera RU1, A rated, £95 - any good?
The cars not driven hard, but it is a heavy old family bus, so want it to be safe as poss, obviously!!!

In my opinion, it has got to be Michelin Diamaris, they are what they X5 came with from the factory, at least that is my understanding.
My car drives perfect, whether wet or dry, wear is good, mine have been on there since I bought it two years ago and they are still good.
The X5 can have a habit of eating through cheap rear tyres due to the camber they have, but my Michelins are spot on with even wear.
Most of the time I would just buy cheap crap as I am no racing driver anymore but with the X5 its fickle beast and I wouldn't compromise on this.
Sadly you'll need to budget about £170 each.

Thanks for the reply!!!
Sound pricey - I can never understand why some sellers pitch them as high as £300, when they're available from £132 elsewhere...
(if you can wait for them to arrive from Italy...

They seem to have a DOT date listed as 2014..... I can only assume they would be a brand new tyre and not something that's been sitting on the shelf for four years already???
Might contact the seller and see what they say!!!
I'll add them to my list for consideration!!!

Bloody hell good find!
To be honest, if they have sat on a shelf for four years inside, I would have no problem with this, rubber is pretty stable and only really degrades when left exposed to UV from the sun. Thats why caravan peados cover their wheels if their 'vans are stored outside.
I would happily put those on mine. Bargain.

Just to update - went for the Diamaris, through ebay with a 30% (I think) discount - less than £260 for a pair, delivered fro Germany!!!
On the way to get these rears fitted this morning - obviously got a flat on the front... only to find the locking nut is not standard and needs a different size socket to the standard wheel brace!!!
Spare eventually on, I'm now looking for a pair of 255/50/19 as well, but the cheapest I can find is Camskill at £163.55 each!!!!!
Thought the slightly smaller fronts would be cheaper, but must be an odd size I guess!!!

Excellent, superb price that.
D'ya know, I hadn't noticed the different tyre sizes

That's put paid to swapping my tyres from front to back
