Guy rocked up here the other week in a 235i and I was very impressed. understated, nice size, quick and all round a lovely car.

That M2, while the size is right, has been wrecked by BMW's fixation with scoops, diffusers and scallops where they shouldn't be. All too "transformers" for me. That front bumper looks like a "barryboys" abortion!

Which is where the e28, e34 and e39 M5's had it. Less is more boys, less is more!

It's just trying a bit too hard.
Everything new seems to be jumping up and down going "look at me, look at me, look how motorsport I am. look I even have an E30 M3 in my video." :roll:

In that case, "trying too hard" would be true for pretty much all the latest M cars, including the M3, M4 and X5M/X6M...

The M5 still looks more or less subtle, compared to the others in the range.
