How's tricks everyone, some may know that I've recently purchased an e32 7 series and I thought I'd see if anyone on here has any experience with them? There are as always mixed reviews on-line regarding them. We're eliminating the self levelling suspension, adding shocks and springs, the only other things it failed the mot on are very minor, bulbs, wiper blades etc. I really like it, once its had a little bit of body work doing, mainly the bonnet, and doors treated for rust and sprayed I think it will look pretty good and maybe a nice set of wheels. A large luxury car. But will it end up costing me a small fortune in the end? So shall I just get it mot'd and looking good and sell and go for something else or do you think it would be a good one to keep? Cars really solid, good service history, interior is immaculate too.
Any advice would be gladly received
Cheers
Matt

The definition of an optimist is somebody who thinks he can just about afford to run a 750 !
It is a 25 year old 60k car, it WILL go wrong and cost you lots of money ! The main issue with these is that they are largely extinct which means parts availability is crap , both used and new aftermarket

Peter is the definition of a pessimist, unless he's selling you something!

He's not wrong though bab.
Getting rid of the SLS is only going to devalue the car, unless its pi55ing out everywhere and the car is a bridge dodger?

You were smart ! You bought a nice car that was already a nice car before the previous owner spent 10k + keeping it that way / improving it.
