I know the owner. He didn't do it because he couldn't afford it.

He ended up with the car in a deal, the engine went in an E30 and then he had that engine laying about. Works well IMO.

I think I know the car as well. Did the engine go in a red E30 ?

I did see it once but didn't really see any of the work to it. I do know what his work can be like. That's not the only E30 he's butchered. There are a few more out there.

I'm assuming you've got the job of fixing the car ?

No, I refused it ! Only after I had seen it. I can safely say it is the worst conversion I have ever seen and needed to be ripped out and started from scratch. I haven't heard from the owner for a while and he has not posted anything about the car so I am not sure what has happened to it.

Its a real shame, he is a decent guy whose only mistakes were loving turds and hooking up with that Jankes tw4t

Anybody who could hand something like that back to a customer needs a good 'talking to' and to consider a new career.
