I know the owner. He didn't do it because he couldn't afford it.

He ended up with the car in a deal, the engine went in an E30 and then he had that engine laying about. Works well IMO.

I think I know the car as well. Did the engine go in a red E30 ?

I assume the geyser who done the E30 'conversion' was an Italian butcher  Do you know the perpetrators Jamie ?

Jeeez ! Did you see the state of that red turd after he had 'finished' it ? I wouldn't let that 'Jank' cooont near my wheelbarrow!

I can safely say I have never seen such shocking medieval beasting in all my life and I have seen plenty.

How in the name of fook did he have the neck to take money off the poor victim for destroying his car
and engine ? 8O

I did see it once but didn't really see any of the work to it. I do know what his work can be like. That's not the only E30 he's butchered. There are a few more out there.

I'm assuming you've got the job of fixing the car ?

No, I refused it ! 8O Only after I had seen it. I can safely say it is the worst conversion I have ever seen and needed to be ripped out and started from scratch. I haven't heard from the owner for a while and he has not posted anything about the car so I am not sure what has happened to it.

Its a real shame, he is a decent guy whose only mistakes were loving turds and hooking up with that Jankes tw4t :(

:(

Shame, the lad can do better. But obviously couldn't be bothered and someone got stung.
I didn't see any of the work so can't comment.

I'm sure he will get it sorted and get it done properly.

You are giving him too much credit Jamie.

Anybody who could hand something like that back to a customer needs a good 'talking to' and to consider a new career.

Fair point.

It's a shame, but as you say he has ripped someone off.
