Scrap E36 - Anything useful ?

I've got an E36 that I crashed a while ago, its a 320i.
Plan was to strip it all down and sell it in bits but I haven't got the time or space to do it so was going to see if there are any parts worthwhile having for the e30 before I scrap it ?
Thanks in advance

Assume its a saloon, tbh nothing much unless it has sport kit, wheels etc if bog std car then weigh it in and be done with it.
Some pictures might help identify other things...

Being a 320 , I assume it is an old M plate w4nker ? The cat on these. if OE is very good news but you will need to contact someone who specialises in buying scrap cats to get the best price as normal scrappies will try and palm you off with fook all.
The wheels (I assume they are alloys?) if tidy with DECENT tyres should make a nifty , otherwise , remove front fogs, cat, battery and petrol and proceed to the bridge

E36's are terrible breakers because a) the cars are worth fuck.all and b) the scrapyards are full of them. A 1994 318iS Coupe is here tomorrow to be relieved of it's engine and gearbox, battery, cataclysmic perverter and fuel. The rest is Bridge bound - panels, lights, foglights, half leather, instruments, alloys etc included. It's all worthless.

just reading that, assume the seatsa are the sports half leather, would they not be worth taking out?

Yes, Sports arf leatherzz - in Turquoise.

It's a Morea green car. It has got a spoiler, but I'm just not getting involved. It's in, donk'n'box out, then away to the bridge in one day, filled with more junk including a mint cloth Coupe interior to get the weight up for more beer tokens. Seriously, you can't give this stuff away.

It's 2 tone dark grey Velour from a 1994 car, non Sport. I had it in my white iS before fitting black leather.
If you can get a courier to NG17 before 12 tomorrow it could be a goer but I won't have time to pallet or wrap stuff up. No idea on weight either! Just front and rear seats as I sold the door cards.
It'll be leaving the building tomorrow one way or the other...

I bought it for £200, spent a couple of hundred on coilovers, m3 top mounts, wheels and thats about it. So obviously i'll strip those bits and stick the originals back on.
I've seen e36 window switches for sale for £30 odd, are these just the switches cut out ? If so thats some easy cash there.
I was just wanting to see if there was anything I could retrofit into the e30 like electric windows etc.
Heres the car btw

only some window switches are suitable for e30 conversions, you'll have to research first, but if theyre the right ones it'll take seconds to pop them out and snip the plug and a few inches of wire at the same time.
little bits and bobs might be worth it if in good condition you can be bothered to take them out, stalks, switches, control units, oe stereos, but you won't make much from them.
i'm after a pair of oe foglights in decent nick, and an offside foglight mounting bracket if cheap enough

My e30 hasn't got electric windows so guessing the e36 motors won't fit ?.
Suppose i'll have to get some pictures of stuff thats still in good nick and post up and see if anyone needs any cheap bits.
I'll have to let you know about the foglights, I had a crash in it and I know the front bumper was ripped off so not sure what condition the lights are in !

doh
i smashed one of mine on a rabbit, and broke the bracket too. i think it looks better without them, but would like some spares to put in if i ever want to go back to oem
tbh i doubt the e36 window mech is anything like the e30 ones. the e36 setup is also pretty notorious to twisting / breaking so probably not the best thing to use anyway.

I can't believe you threw that trim away, it was mint and heated !

It'll be even more heated as it gets dropped into a foundry. Mind you, crushed cars are shredded before going to the furnaces, ferrous and non ferrous metals separated from plastics, rubber, glass and mint heated velour trims.
Yes it was nice, but I can't be arsed farting about with £20 interiors. I did remove the heating switches though!

I hope you removed the clear taillights and new B4s that were on that turd, they would have made a few quid, if you offered free fitting and terms !

Well, they were a year old. Took the M Technic springs off, chucked the shocks - they're secondhand now and I already have 2 pairs of mint Boge Sachs ones. Can't be bothered with clear rears either, only got £12 for the last set.
