Back then this would've been rather lairy, but is just laughing stock stuff now!! We did some strange things back in the 80's (& 90's come to think of it!!)

A German buddy of mine in work used to live close to the Gemballa outfit in Stuttgart who modified/ruined this 6er and apparently his auld man was a mate of the owner. We were only talking the other day about the time he was taken for a run in a white 959 Convertible back the 80's Apparently it was shipped to a wealthy Arab in Saudi the following day!
They have put out some crazy cars....do a google search on the 959 and see for yourselves! I remember some of the cars from my top trumps cards in the 80's .....sad I know!
Rich.

fack man.
The car doesn't look too bad to be honest, but it needs that yellow breaking up a bit.

I think it looks GREAT but i do not like the colour i think it looks better in white. I think it would have looked good in the 1980s as it does now. Love that 1980s excess.
All those who do not like it you got poor taste :-p
PS that website some of those BMWs posted on here are alright especially that red one which would also look good in white but prefer the original BMW wheels.
Now I like that first black e24 convertible. That looks the tits

The E24 was a waste of a good E28 chassis!

A friend of the family owned this car, and I remember, must have been about 89 or 90, that it was the first car I actually had a negative opinion of. My old man had an XJS then, and the Gucci Eventer version seemed all wrong even to my young mind at the time!
My opinion has softened on it nowadays, thats a nice shot of it, but then I havent seen one in the flesh since then.

Got a set of Recaro C's fitted to my W124 cabriolet freshly retrimmed in navy blue leather by d:class... cost me an arm and a leg but money well spent I guess..
There's a guy from one of the MB forums that im on that lives near me that has a genuine W124 DOHC Hammer, that used to belong to George Harrison...Stunning car and stupidly rare...
A 500E/E500 is the only alternative to a hammer that can be found fairly easily in comparison....

Any pics of your W124?
A 500E/E500 would be awesome but i dont think they would cut it compared to the "Hammer"
Full Generation2 AMG Kit, staggered AMG's, slightly lowered on Bilstein B8 shocks with H&R Springs, uber rare Weismann Hardtop and Recaro c seats retrimmed....
