Main dealers don't replace M V10 engines under warranty for no reason, that would be my first comment...I suspect it's not in fabulous working condition!

Secondly, when BMW replace an engine under warranty they require the original engine back so that they can diagnose the issues, test the engine for faults themselves and where possible recycle the engine.

isnt the engine for sale the replacement engine not the faulty one :?

It seems so... I would imagine after bmw fixed the previous problem an over enthusiastic right foot got the better of some silly fecker... I reckon its prbably an OK engine tbh...

Glenn may want it for spares :D
