How did the Sport differ from the 328i?

I've searched google with no joy :(

So far I have:

Full M3 body kit, apart from slats insted of the M3's Mesh in the front bumper

17 inch BBS wheels

LSD (early cars only, later had traction control)

Sports seats (half leather/full leather)

Full OBC

What else?

It had Climate Control, OBC, full black leather, and obviously all the bodykit.

Ive had a couple.black headlining is a must but it doesnt have to have the full OBC neither of mine did and only one had climate. Thicker 3 spoke steering wheel also, some had something called the 'avus' pack i cant remeber what it is but they are cracking cars...

especialy if you get an early one as basic as possible with LSD and no aircon/leather/sunroof :D

Pretty much what everyone has above. I've currently got one and its got:-

- Auto Dim rear view mirror
- Electric rear pop out windows (Probably an option that can be had on all E36's)
- Map reading lights near rear view mirror (Not sure if this is only on sport models)
- Black headlining
- Full digital climate control/Full OBC
- ASC which replaces the LSD :o(

I replaced my beloved E30 sport for this, and can say that the E36 is a whole lot more car and more luxurious, smoother, faster, more refined, and more trouble free. But its still not better than the E30 sport. Damn I miss my old E30 :(

My E36 saloon (4dr) has map reading lights and auto-dim mirror....

As far as I can tell, the spec changes slightly from year to year...

A sport will definitely have black headlining, sports seats, sport suspension (Bilstein) and the M3 style front and rear spoliers and sideskirts/sill covers.
All other options (leather, climate, sunroof, OBC, etc) are add options...

Early cars had LSD and no ASC+T later (sport) cars all had ASC+T but could be had with LSD as well or instead...
Most things were either add options or delete options...

I suspect you could have had a sport with standard bumpers, LSD and cloth seats...
