Its a E93 convertible. Its horrid. What is the point as its not saving any weight as its a fake wrap. More money then sense.

anyone remember about 10 years ago when foliatec fake carbon fibre stickyblack plastic was probably the most popular council mod in the world?
what made this bloke think a giant complete car pretend carbonfibre sticker would be a good idea
just goes to show that being able to finance an expensive new car doesnt automatically mean you have taste

I don't think it looks too bad. what you got to remember is that having the car wrapped is
protecting the original paint work so spending 2k to have something that you want( regardless
of what people think

)will probably get much more back when it comes to selling.
Secretly clever thinking

I like the thought of protecting the original paint work. But surely it should be wrapped in something transparent so you can actually enjoy the paint?
Having said that you could change the look of the car throughout ownership without ruining it's original finish. That's cool too.
IF they made a wrap that had some sort of functionality, like very high heat resistance or increased aerodynamics OR characteristics similar to the material used in the Olympic swimming costumes which allowed water to just run off in a very efficient manner. How cool would that be?
Snake skin wrap anyone?

I love matt finish. If it was proper matt finish black paint respray I'd have my hands down my paint tbqh.
It's a little too much though this. That one tiny step over tasteful

Good luck when he comes to sell it on
I don't like it and don't see the point. Just shows what happens when stupid people get too much money.

Its just vinyl, so its easy enough to take off. That stuff is well expensive. It probably cost about £1500 to £2000 to do that to that car including labour. I think its a bit over the top, but as if its attention he wants why didnt he just buy a set of chrome spinners.

correct me if i'm wrong and i mean no dis-respect by this, as every one is entitled to their own opinion, but i don't see how this fella is a 'prick' , or a ' stupid person' or even 'gayer than aids' you ain't gotta drive it! you don't own it! he does, he seems happy with it, and although it ain't my cuppa tea, he likes it he's happy with it whats the damn problem....
it just winds me up that the whole car scene is about doing what
you want to
your car! not insulting the next fella...
p.s this isn't directed at everyone! just the minority
ok rant over now

I think it looks ok, just look at it as another type of protecting his paintwork

i make you right mate.
it's one thing to start gunning the motor but to start calling people names because his car is not to your taste is just childish.
