so it begins...

the time has come... to spunk some money on the dirty six!!
i have some e30 bottom arms on order.. along with bmw eccentric bushes ( avus ) new track rod end assemblies... the bilstein b8 dampers are next on my list... i will make a decision on springs at a later date... then im going to start on the rear bushes... the engine is getting flushed at the weekend ( wynns ) because its a @ucking discrace in there!!! and new 5/30 oil and filter.... might buy a new mafs for good measure!!

I use 5/30 in mine, but vauxhall traders club special, not castrol :)

I have a set of brand new/unused/in the box shitzer springs for an E36 6 pot coupe that need serving........

Do they? They have told me at my local BMW dealers (irvine) that they use and reccomend 10w40 castrol magnatec for m52b28 and Dick lovett in Bristol sold me a 1ltr can of the same at the parts counter when I needed some whilst working up there.

Why E30 wishbones ? Assuming your mechanic has the tool, why not just replace the nasty E36 outer balljoints with the modified meyle ones for less than £10 each from euros ? With the money you save, you could buy my lovely new unused shitzer springs ! :)

just had my E36 Touring serviced at Sytner - it says Mobil 1 oil was used on the invoice 8)

im only going on what cooper said to me yesterday... as a rule i would have put 10/40 magnatec in... its a good oil!!

Pound to a pinch of shite that dealer reccomendations for oil brand are down to what ever winkeye deal the dealer can strike with the oil salesman....
