Exhaust for e36 328i sport

Hi, ive just bought an e36 328i sport. it has a scorpion system fitted to it atm, which sounds stunning on full chat but its un-bareably boomy at low revs and backfires permanantly on over run. can anyone recomend me another performance exhaust for the 328i that isnt so loud and just gives a sporty note. dont want a standard system as it weighs a tonne and sounds shite.

i have the same fitted to my sport... i think its just the back box.. im going back to a standard system.

Supersprint is probably about the best for E36, nice sound, and not boomy at all.

Just going to put a full M3 exhaust sytem on including the manifolds. ive found one for good money. works out alot less than buying a supersprint cat back or the likes with better performance. should be a nice oem mod.

Agreed, had one on the 325 and it was really good. Only prob is that it wasn't stainless steel so lack of lifetime warranty (but I suppose that only matters on how long you are planning to keep the car).

My brother has got a supersprint on his 328i and it sounds amazing!
Not too loud, burbles nicely at idle and when you put your foot down, a nice controlled sound. I would defo reconmend the supersprint for a 328i
