I didn't think BMW would make a V12 anymore. Twin turbo's which is weird.
544BHP and 750 Nm torque.

Thats a proper chariot. I'll have one in 15 Years time when they're on ebay for £400

New rear end is a vast improvement but it has a face like a blistered piss pot.

Twin-turbos seem to be being used in all the newer BMW set-ups.
Interesting that the power and torque are pretty similar to the new X5-M and X6-M V8's - makes you wonder why they bothered and didn't just go M7...

740i is the same engine as the 135i, 335i and new Z4 - it's a 3.0 twin-turbo, apparently in a different state of tune, although most 135i's and 335i's seem to make the same sort of figures on a dyno.

stupid, although i read some where that they had 4.0 engines, i'am 99% the bmw site said it had a 4.0 engine too when they first started showing it on the site

just been through the site, bmw do the following size capacity engines
2.0
2.5
3.0
4.0
4.5
5.0
(excludes M cars)
i'm shocked that thats the only sizes they do, i know they tune them differently but thats shocking.
no more 1.6, 1.8, 2.3, 2.8, 3.5
looks like a way to cut costs to me
