Neither is the lack of roof!

I'd buy it for the rarity value. You could make a nice car of it I'm sure.

NEver realised there was a baur e24. Something about it doesnt look quite right..

The baur conversion isnt too bad, its the other sh1t.
Holds it original lines unlike the baur e30.

Trying to convince by dad to buy one

In my 18 years of service I never did see or hear of a baur E24.

As far as I am aware BMW only comissioned the E21 and E30 to have the baur conversion.

Strong money for a car that needs welding regardless of rarity....

Imagine trying to source a new roof for it!

Whoever takes that on could end up with a right money pit!

Baur didn't do this conversion (E24).

But BMW let Baur build these cars:
320 & 326 Convertible (1930's)
501 (saloon)
501/502 Coupe/Convertible
700 Coupe/Convertible
1600-2 Convertible
2002 Convertible & Targa
M1
Z1
E36 Baur TC.
