I haven't found anything suitable for over 3.5L at all (available to the public). There are a few on ebay that go upto 3.5L but I've no experience with them, I know mine rated to apparently 2L was useless on my 1.8L diesel, the ratings are pretty poor IMO and its worth spending some time getting the proper figures matched from your battery to the booster rather than relying on the guestimates based on size of engine.

Hi - I use a SIP Rescue Pac and have found it capable of jump starting a V8 730i and TVR Griffith so reckon its pretty strong. Also got best buy in last weeks Auto Express guide... holds its charge for ages too.

Thanks for both replys. I e-mailed a few people on ebay selling them, 1 bloke got back to me and said he could get a booster that could start 3500cc engines but it cost £208.70 plus £14.99 postage, more than i want to spend really. The second best to get back to me was able to get this 1
http://www.drapertools.com/b2c/b2citmds ... kmno=40133
for £97.50 postage included, he reckoned this would be ok. Have you got a link for the SIP Rescue Pac,cheers

Snap on boost pack, can't be beat it. I use mine daily as a recovery/breakdown tech, and it's not failed me once. Starts vans too.
