Shows that Clarkson was still a bit of a prat even then. I bet Clarkson in a 328i couldn't stay with Big Dave around the 'Ring in a 318i.......

interesting. clarkson is as always the contrarian sadly mainly for effect but at least in those days top gear actually reviewed cars and was therefore worth watching.

Thank goodness most people don't take Clarkson seriously anymore when he's reviewing cars. You kind of get the feeling that back then a lot of people did, very frustrating.
