Unfortunately for me, I have to do some business traveling next year so the IS is going to have to go :( I was thinking about getting an e36 compact - 1.8ti which you could almost consider to be an updated version of the IS :D Does anyone on the forum have any experience of this car or know where I can find out more?

Cheers

My sisters looking at getting one of these too...there's a R plate one with 70k, fsh, mtech optional everything, acs wheels, hopefully get it for abput 3.5k...She's looked at a few, with prices varying between 2.5k to over 4k.

Have always considered the compact to be the retarded bother of the full sized e36. Just screams out i could afford a whole one to me.

Where about's in Bedfordshire Robin?

She did see a acs compact, it had all the acs extras, bar the engine :? looks absolutely spot on, that went for under 2.5k if I remember right...Which looked like a bit of a bargin tbh.
